ROBERT (BERT) CRAWFORD On Monday, November 26, 2001, at the age of 86 years, Robert (Bert) Crawford of Winnipeg passed away after a brief illness at the Health Sciences Centre. Bert was born in Erinview, MB on December 28, 1914. He worked at the Canadian National Railway until retiring. He was a member of the Fort Rouge Legion, Army and Navy and Imperial War Amps. Bert enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and dancing. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Doreen of 53 years of marriage; daughters, Donna (Tony) Powroznik, Teulon, MB and Gail, Winnipeg, MB; son Barry (Diane), Winnipeg; grandchildren, John, Shirley, Michael, Jason, David and Steven; sisters, Sadie Johnston, Eileen Milne and brother Raymond of Stonewall, MB. A private family service was held on Thursday, November 29 in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave., at Sharp Boulevard, and interment has taken place in Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for the care given to Bert.
