GAY CORMAN With our deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Gay Corman. At the age of 89, she passed away peacefully on November 28, 2001 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years Harry and her son Samuel. She is survived by her children Lillian, Clifford and Ellie and their spouses Bill, Deborah and Philip and grandchildren Tammy, Randy, Elliot, Jeffrey, Sarah, David, Tova, Michael, Jacob, Hannah, Daniel, Samantha, Kelly, Daniel, Robyn and Lisa and great grandchildren Kenneth, Rachel, Robert, Danielle and Max, what a legacy! Gay was beautiful, elegant and gracious, indeed a true Renaissance woman. Her many facets included a wonderful marriage, a love of family, a passion for Israel and a natural artistic talent. Her paintings, sculptures and other works of art continued to astonish us. Her creativilty pervaded all aspects of her life and had a profound influence on everyone who knew her. Gay supported us in all our endeavours. She created a wonderful home for her family, where there were stimulating conversations and terrific meals, making her a magnet for us all. Throughout her life she worked for many worthy causes including Youth Aliyah and Hadassah-Wizo. She was an avid golfer, bowler and bridge player. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her during these final years. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice. She will be loved forever and missed by all.
