BERTHA JANE LEACH (STEWART) November 29, 1904 - November 29, 2001 With our deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our dearest mother and grand-mother, Bertha Leach, on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Alvin in February 1985. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Audrey Johnson (Ronald) Laurel Rector (Edward) and granddaughter Willow; her son Wayne Leach and granddaughter Sherry Leach. Mother was a very private, warm hearted, compassionate and caring person. Her family was her life, and her love for her husband, children and granddaughters was beyond measure. Mother loved all of our family gatherings, she was always the life of the party. Although we are consumed with grief by her sudden passing, memories of our precious Mother and Grandmother will be cherished in our hearts forever. Mother was an active church member for most of her lifetime, starting at the Home Street United, then Maryland United and lastly Silver Heights United. She had a very strong faith, and received much enjoyment out of her Church membership and ladies groups in her earlier years. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, December 4 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Four Prophets. Donations in mothers memory may be made to the charity of ones choice. "Remembering all the yesterdays, The special growing years Spent with friends and family And shared with smiles and tears Remembering all the yesterdays And, knowing as we do, The love in those sweet memories Is all wrapped up in you." "We love you Mom, Grandma, and will miss you Very much - until we meet again." CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
