DAVID BRIAN KREVIAZUK August 6, 1979 - November 28, 2001 With his mom and dad by his side, David Brian Kreviazuk passed away as the result of an accident on November 28, 2001. David was on a trip to Minneapolis with a couple of his buddies at the time. David was pre-deceased by his brother Michael, his best buddy Helgy, and his grandma Grace Nore. Dave ("Krevi") was born on August 6, 1979 and was raised in the Red Lake area. This adorable, rosy cheeked, curly haired guy was always the life of every gathering, "making people laugh was Krevis specialty". However, words are inadequate to describe how truly wonderful a person David was. No matter whom you speak to everyone has something very different and unique to say. His ability to bond with anyone who became a part of his life was one of the things that made him so special. Krevi was most often seen with his friends, on the baseball field, or at his cabin. No matter what the season, Krevi had a love for the outdoors, the cabin and the lake. Dave will be deeply missed by his mother Marilyn and father Brian, his grandmother Isobel Kreviazuk, extended family and friends. A funeral service for the late David Kreviazuk will be held on Wednesday, December 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Red Lake Royal Canadian Legion, with Pastor Peter Cain officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Red Lake Funeral Chapel. The family would like to send sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Hennepin County Medical Centre for providing the best medical care for Davey. A trust fund is being established in Krevis memory for promotion of amateur sports in the Red Lake area. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the Red Lake Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0. We love you and miss you. You will be a part of all our memories, until we meet again.

  • I remember David as a rosy cheeked kid with a joie de vivre unmatched by most. He liked to travel a bit and often showed up in Selkirk unannounced. He is sadly missed by myself and my family, and we will love him forever. - Posted by: Howard Nore (Uncle) on: Jan 24, 2021
