EDITH DORRIAN With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Edith Dorrian on November 30, 2001 at the age of 100. Predeceased by her husband John, son-in-law Walter and grandson Greg as well as seven brothers and three sisters. Edith will be remembered by her children, Mavis Hallow, Jim (Dorothy) Dorrian; grandchildren, Jim (Cathy) Hallow, Sharon (George) Selley, Kathy (Greg) Hallow, Reuben (Linda) Hallow, Bryan (Marj) Gullion; great-grandchildren, Corlie (Jeff) Larsen, Troy (Coralee) Selley, Robin (Braxton) Smith, Trisha (Rick) Baldwin, Joel Selley, Brendan, Janine, Mandy, Whitney and Barrett Hallow; great-great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Dorrian Selley, Deaken Smith; special nephew Jim Dorrian and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Edith, known by most as Grandma or Aunt Edith, was a very special lady. Her home was always open to one and all. You never left without a cup of tea. She was the matriarch of our family and all family functions revolved around her. We consider ourselves truly blessed to have had her for 100 years. She enriched the lives of all who knew her. Thank you to all her home care workers whom she loved dearly. We would like them all to consider themselves honourary pallbearers. Viewing will be held on Monday, December 3 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. John Stennett will officiate with interment to follow at St. Georges Cemetery, Woodlands. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
