FREDERICK A. JAMES (Lieutenant retired) Peacefully, at the St. Boniface Hospital, with his family by his side. It is with great sadness that we announce that Fred passed away on November 26, 2001, at the age of 85. Fred leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Adele; his dear daughter Nancy Hyatt (David) and two dear granddaughters, Carissa and Kareen; his sister Anne, and two brothers, Ed and Bob. He was predeceased by his son Freddie Jr. in 1964. Fred worked for the Canadian National Railways for 40 years. He spent six years in the Canadian Armed Forces, which he enlisted in on the first day of the war, and earned the rank of Lieutenant. He spent some time overseas in England, and some time in Shilo, MB. Fred had a great love of animals, and the squirrels he fed every day will miss him. Growing his prize tomatoes from seed in the winter and planting and nurturing them in the summer gave Fred great pleasure. A private family memorial service will be held at Freds request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society. We love you, we will miss you. Rest in Peace. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
