Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KOSOWAN Suddenly, on November 29, 2001, Bill Kosowan, aged 68 years, beloved husband of Pauline, passed away at his residence. Besides his loving wife Pauline, he leaves to mourn four daughters, Sandra (Edwin), Donna (Joel), Gloria (Garfield) and Gladys; one son Rick (Sandi) nine grandchildren, Joy, Melissa, Chrystalle, Brandon, Samantha, Serena, Justin, Rebecca and Tyrell. He also leaves to mourn his passing sisters, Marie, Vicki and Olga and brother George and their families. Bill was predeceased by his parents Peter and Safta Kosowan and brother John. William (Bill) married Pauline in Tolstoi, MB in 1958 and resided in Winnipeg, where their five children were raised. Bill spent 37 years with Versatile as a forklift and equipment operator, which he truly enjoyed and retired in 1996. Dad continued his dedication and now free time to his family and grandchildren and enjoyed baseball, antique cars, Gardenton Ukrainian Festival and entertaining the family by playing the harmonica. Dad took up cooking and the family and grandchildren enjoyed the best cooked roast beef around. He also loved tinkering with cars, riding his bike and taking long walks. He looked forward to family gatherings and outings. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The family would like to thank Janice (Janet) (Heart Nurse) who put up with Dad, Dr. W. Czarnecki (Cardiologist), Dr. H. DaSilva (G.P.) and Dr. K. Warrian (Cardiovascular Surgeon) for their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Monday, December 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Very Rev. Fr. John Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Matewish, Edwin Omaga, Garfield Langley, Dale Kosowan, Brian Smerch and Glenn Smerchanski. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Bills memory to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, R3C 3R2.
