HAROLD PASSEY Peacefully, on November 30, 2001, Harold Passey passed away with his family by his side, at Concordia Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is predeceased by his daughters, Linda Gail and Deidra Evelyn; his parents, Agnes and James; and his brothers, Thomas and Russell. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lila (nee George) his daughter Leona Troyniak and his sons-in-law Frank Pilling and Ken Troyniak; five grand-children, Linda Theriault (Ron), Suzanne Green (Glen), Jennifer Troyniak, Brent McMillan (Lisa), Jodene Troyniak Penner (Davian) and three great-grandchildren, Nicole Poirier, Brodie and Bryan Green. He is also survived by his brothers, James (Anne), Jack (Shirley) sisters, Evelyn Gray and Shirley Wasney (Barry) and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold joined the RCAF where he later retired in 1967. He then began at Standard Aero Engine where he retired in 1981. He loved the outdoors. He spent numerous hours hunting, fishing and camping. His love for the outdoors eventually brought him to build his own cottage where he spent most of his summer days. A memorial service will be held at the St. Georges Anglican Church, 321 Pandora Ave. West, on Tuesday, December 4 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Transcona Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the St. Georges Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
