IRIS AMY McFADYEN (nee BENNETT) Grandma passed away November 30 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in England and immigrated to Canada during childhood. Grandma graduated in 1927 from the Winnipeg General Hospital Nursing program and enjoyed over 50 years of both Psychiatric and private duty nursing. The family has previously mourned the passing of our Grandpa and Father Malcolm "Mac" McFadyen and their son Brian McFadyen beloved husband, father and uncle. Grandma will be greatly missed by her daughter Mary and husband Ed Coughlin (Winnipeg) daughter-in-law Mary Ann, widow of Brian McFadyen (Regina) and daughter Lesley and husband Bill Kurtz (MI). Grandma always looked forward to visits with her 10 grand and 10 great-grandchildren. Gardening was one of grandmas favourite pastimes. In honor of her, find a little spot in your garden with lots of sunshine and plant your favourite flower this spring. Her family will gather together in the summer for a memorial. Grandma you will always be with us in our hearts and our memories. -Your grandchildren
