She was predeceased by her parents, Orval and Anne. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband George, daughter Laurie, son Dave and wife Joanne and her two precious grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas. She also leaves to mourn numerous friends and family members. Harriet was born in Winnipeg June 18, 1938. She attended Lord Selkirk High School and in 1959 married George, her husband of 42 years. She worked for a short period of time but after giving birth to her children, she decided to leave her job and become a full-time mom. She was an active member of Holy Cross for 20 years, Immanuel Lutheran Church for 10 years and Epiphany Lutheran for 30 years. She was a member of the Ladies Group and sang in the church choir. Harriet loved spending time with friends and family, in particular, doting on her two grandkids. A special "thank you" goes out to Dr. Werier as well as the staff on H4 at HSC who took such good care of Mom. Also to the wonderful supportive friends and family who spent time comforting Mom and us. We could not have made it through this difficult time without your love and support. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epiphany Lutheran Church Memorial fund. Thank you for being a wonderful Nana, we will always remember you. Josh and Nicholas. Thank-you for always seeing the best in me. I love you and miss you. Joanne. Mom with your tremendous love and support, you shaped us into the adults we are today. You can rest in peace knowing that we will be fine. We love you now and will miss you forever. Laurie and Dave. I love you Hon and will miss you dearly. George. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
