Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARL SCHIEFELBEIN Peacefully, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, at the Beausejour District Hospital, our husband, father and grandfather left his earthly home on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the age of 80 years. Carl was born May 27, 1921 to Julius and Hulda Schiefelbein. He leaves to mourn his ever-present companion, Ida, with whom he shared 47 joyful years; his son Allan and daughter-in-law Helen and their children, Tara, Heidi, Sean and Nathan. He is also survived by his two sisters, Anne (Fred) Schindel and Elsie Nagy; sister-in-law Irene Miller as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother Alex; sister Bertha and several siblings in infancy. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5 in Elim Baptist Church, 645 James Ave. in Beausejour, MB with Rev. Greg Gaensler officiating. Interment will follow in Green Bay Cemetery in Green Bay, MB. Viewing will be held at the church prior to the service. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Carls memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
