Mary was born September 30, 1912, to Pearl and Peter Nestorowich in Caliento, MB. Mary and Matt were married in Winnipeg in 1935. Their homestead resided at the family farm in Arbakka, MB, where they raised their family. One of Marys greatest pleasures was gardening. She also enjoyed berry and mushroom picking in her spare time. She moved to Winnipeg in 1993, residing at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Millennium Villa. Moms caring nature along with hospitality and true friendship distinguish her true personality. Her beauty as a person lay in her compassion and genuine kindnes. At the villa she enjoyed playing cards, bingo, making perogies, and other social events. It is those memories that we will always cherish.
