ROSS DUANE HOOPER It is with sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of Ross Duane Hooper, on December 1, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ross leaves to mourn his wife of 30 years, Lynne; children, Jason, Krystal and Kim; pets, Sheba, Miracle (Taffy) and Leon; brothers, Don (Barb) and Doug (Jeanne) newphews, Steven and Keith; nieces, Monica, Dawn and Dana; and great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves his good friends, Steve and Joan, Gloria and Tom, Julie, Dale and Pat, and Ritchie. Ross was born in Wilkie, SK, to Jack and Esther Hooper. He lived in Assiniboia, SK, and then spent his teen years in Riverton, MB. Ross enjoyed watching sports, usaully wrestling. He loved his time spent at the cabin at West Hawk Lake. He enjoyed playing cards; he was forever playing tricks on family and friends. The family would like to thank family and friends for their caring support during this time. For those of you who wish, donations can be made in his memory to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of ones choice. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with viewing commencing at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the reception centre.
