She was predeceased by her parents, brother Harold, and infant sister Norma. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Eileen was born on January 10, 1934, in Lundar, MB. She married Bob in 1953 and they settled in Warren to farm and to raise the family to which she was totally devoted. Eileen was widely known by the community as the Postmaster of Warren for 13 years. When Eileen wasnt busy doing things for or with the family, she was busy knitting, baking delicious treats, playing piano, gardening or going to bingo. She liked to take trips to see some of Canadas magnificent scenery. She was a beautiful and kind person, whose personality shone to all who knew her. Her sparkling eyes and loving nature will be sadly missed by all who knew her. We would like to express our special thanks to Dr. Graham, and the Teulon Hospital staff for all their tender, loving and compassionate care for Mom and for our family. Thank you also to Dr. Pillay at Teulon, Dr. Sheila Peters and the HSC Emergency staff, and the Teulon Ambulance for their expertise and kindness. At Moms request, cremation has taken place, with family burial service. Relatives and friends are welcomed to celebrate Moms life with us at Warren Community Hall on Thursday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. Donations, if desired, may be made to Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital in memory of Eileen. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there. I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sun on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
