MAURICE PARISIAN May 21, 1939 - December 3, 2001 We are very sad to announce that on December 3, 2001 at the age of 62, Maurice Parisian peacefully slipped away from his wife, children and grandchildren. As his heart stopped beating so did a part of everyone elses who knew and loved him. Maurice was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Lucienne; youngest sister Angela; father and mother-in-law Richard and Sheila Lower; and sister-in-law Rose. Survived by wife Josephine of 32 years; son Richard (Kim) daughter Hattie; grandchildren, Ryan, Richard, Donovan and Richelle; brothers and sisters, Isreal (Alexina), Barbra (Jimmy) McNabb, Willie (Michelle), Anita (Terry) Dinah and Wayne; also many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. No matter how sick and weak Maurice was you could never really tell. He never wanted people to feel sorry for him. At the worst of times, he always had a smile on his face. He was a brave and honourable man and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. To his wife, children and grandchildren he will always be their hero. Viewing will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 7 at Bardal Funeral Home. Interment Old Kildonan Cemetery. Pallbearers are Oliver Parisien, Larry Parisien, Len Boudreau, Bill Parisien, Allan Parisian and James McNabb. Honourary pallbearers are Derrick Parisian and Danny Parisian. A very special thank you to Dr. Rosser; Dr. Karpinski; nurses and staff of the MICU, GH4 and GD4 at the Health Sciences Centre.
