GLADYS GUSS (GOSPODARYK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Gladys Guss, on December 4, 2001. Gladys was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry in March of 1992. She is survived by her six children, Lucy, Eleanor (Eddy), Lillian, Kenneth (Leslie), Nancy (Roy), and Ronald. She also leaves to mourn 16 grandchildren and five great-grandsons. Gladys was born in Poland, February 26, 1912 and came to Winnipeg with her family at the age of nine years old. Gladys was a devoted wife and mother. She always believed her children had gifts to offer the world. She sought to instill a sense of humour and the joys of life in those around her. Mother made every house a home filled with comfort, beauty, music and the aroma of good cooking. Family gatherings were of the utmost importance and she believed her greatest accomplishment in life was, indeed her family. Words cannot express how we will miss our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family wish to thank the staff of Station 3, Tuxedo Villa for their kindness, support and loving care. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Msgr. Stanley Jaworski officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
