ANNE KULIK (nee KOLOGINSKI) It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Anne Kulik, aged 85. After a brief illness, she peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at the Grace General Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her daughter Shirley; brothers, Bill, Mike, Steve and Peter. Left to cherish her memory are her husband John of 52 years; daughter Judy (Murray) Grant; and granddaughter Alanna; sisters, Helen (Nick) Czaplynsky, Mary (Nick) Kozubniak, Julie Gural, Ollie (Nick) Skomorski, Kathleen (Bill) Bachewich of British Columbia, Susan (Art) Beston of California; and brother Nick of Erickson; and two sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was born in Cooks Creek and raised in the Erickson, MB, area. Anne loved family gatherings, spending time at her daughters cottage, gardening, camping and nature. Anne especially enjoyed music and dance and attended many of her granddaughters recitals. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave., with Rev. Peter Douglas of Deer Lodge United Church officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff at West Park Manor for the excellent care given to Anne over the years, and the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion during Annes final days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Annes memory be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
