JOHN EDWARD ROBBIE 1911-2001 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful death of John Edward Robbie on Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 90 years. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 66 years Olga, daughter Audrey (Bernie Toni), and granddaughter Lauren (Michel Danis), and great-granddaughter Mia Danis. John was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Edward and Frank Robbie; and sister Gertrude Hindle. John was born and educated in the north end of Winnipeg. He spent most of his life in the medical supply business, as co-owner of Campbell and Hyman Inc., with his brother Frank. In his retirement years he was involved with volunteer activities with the Knights of Columbus. Special thanks to Dr. Jamie Boyd, Margaret and Janet of Home Care, and the staff of the Riverview Centre. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Pl., with Rev. Fr. Michael Koryluk presiding.
