ELIZABETH KING GIBSON Elizabeth King Gibson aged 102 years passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba. She was born on December 16, 1898 at Rosebank, MB to Sam and Jessie Stuart. She married Edward Gibson in 1920 and lived in Culross, MB from then until she moved to the Boyne Lodge on December 11, 1989. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edward Gibson; by five brothers, John, Bill, Archibald (Archie), Charles and Nelson, and by one sister Mary Gibson. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Webber of Carman, MB and Hazel Arnett of Tampa, FL; one son Allan and wife Beryl Gibson of Elm Creek, MB; one grandson Dennis (Margaret) Webber and one great-grandson Christopher Webber of Carman. A graveside service will be held at Elm Creek Cemetery, Elm Creek on Wednesday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. A lunch will follow the graveside service at the Elm Creek Community Hall. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, MB, ROG OJO. Doyles Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
