Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryORVILLE WALLACE McLENNAN December 25, 1914 - December 6, 2001 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Orville (Hoda) McLennan, just before his 87th birthday. Orville leaves all his memories with sons, Bill (Kathy), Ken (Sharon), Gary (Joanne), Keith (Sandy) daughter Barb; grandchildren, Lori Donovan (Kevin), Don (Sabbina), Scott (Cori), Cary Brunett (Jason), Danika, Jody, Ryan, Derek and Trent; along with great-grandchildren, Alycia, Kayla, Carina, Julia and Breanna. Orville is also survived by sisters, Viola Barker (Bill), Eileen Eger; sisters-in-law, Beatrice and Rollo; extended family Brian and Gaye Lynn McLaughlin and good friend Peter Langelle. Orville was predeceased by his wife Florence; brothers, Allan, Neil, Tom and Malcolm; sisters, Margaret, Mabel and Kathleen; brothers-in-law, Earl Eger and John Myer; and sister-in-law Nita. Orville was a retired inspector of the CNR Police, founding member and Past President of the Manitoba Peace Officers Club, Past President of the Elmwood Curling Club, lifetime member of the Elmwood Hardknocks Curling, and lifetime member of the Every 2nd Tuesday Breakfast Club. Orville was very involved in curling, hockey, baseball and lacrosse as a player and as a coach. He greatly enjoyed his involvement with the Elmwood Giants baseball, curling at Elmwood, his time at the Manitoba Peace Officers Club and the La Salle Hotel, along with many hours at Kelvin Community Club supporting all his family and many friends. Our family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Darcy Johnson for his years of help, along with Dr. M.A. Jason, as well as the Emergency staff at Concordia Hospital. Memorial service will be held Friday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Orvilles memory to The Movement Centre of Manitoba Inc., 24 - 62 Scurfield Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1M5, or Manitoba Riding for the Disabled, 200 Main St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4M2.
