Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN LYNN CHEETHAM It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Susan Cheetham (nee Bryson) aged 39 years, on December 7, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Beloved wife of Ray Cheetham of Thompson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 114 Cree Rd., with Rev. Leslie King officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will follow in the spring at the Darlingford Cemetery. Susan is survived by her loving husband Raymond; her two children, Jeffrey and Jennifer; her mother Merle Bryson and in-laws Ted and Doris Cheetham, and was predeceased by her father Jack. She also leaves to mourn her passing her step-children, Candi (Warren) and John (Nicole) brothers, Rodney (Bev) and Richard; nieces and nephews, Daniel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Sara, Ray, Kim, Rachell, and Kari; grandson Matthew; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted Jr. (Marianne), Judy (Ron) and Doreen; as well as many extended family members and friends. Susan was born in Thompson, MB on November 23, 1962, where she grew up, attended school, worked, and raised her family. She was an avid curler and longstanding member of the Burntwood Ladies Curling Club for which she held various executive positions throughout the years. Susan began working for INCO in 1979 where she eventually became the W.C.B. Administrator for the Safety Department. In her life, Susan could always be counted on to find the humour in, or the bright side of any situation. She could laugh at you, or with you, so that you had to laugh yourself. She was always willing to take part, help out, or do what she could for others. She had a way of making people feel special and family gatherings memorable. She was a dedicated mother, a loving wife, a cherished family member, and a valued friend to all of those who were lucky enough to be touched by her. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Susans memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Box 52, Thompson, MB, R8N 1M9.
