Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KUBARA Peacefully, on Monday, December 10, 2001, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Mary Kubara, beloved wife of Michael Sr., passed away at the age of 81. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Michael; and children, daughter Judy (Eugene) Szun; sons, Michael Wayne Jr. (Judy), Don (Sandy) and Richard (Brenda) grandsons, Paul (Valentine) Szun and Michael; and great-grandson Nicholas Szun. She also leaves to mourn her passing, brothers, Dan (Mary) Joss, Michael (Lucienne) Joss; brother-in-law Ed (Jennie) Kubara; sisters-in-law, Helen Dobrinsky, Olga (Bill) Andronick, Emilee Rose, Jean Kubara, Minnie Kubara; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary was born February 3, 1920 in Winnipeg and married Michael in 1942. She was a devoted wife and mother and was employed at Eatons for many years. She was very gifted at knitting, sewing and loved to cook for everyone. Mary spent many happy years at the cottage and traveling to the U.S.A. with her family and friends. She was a long time devoted parishioner of Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church and choir member. In her earlier years she also sang with the Prosvita Choir. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #141 for 48 years. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 14, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be held on Saturday, December 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave. with interment at All Saints Cemetery.
