Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCRESCENTIA (CRESSIE) MARY TRITSCHLER June 1, 1903 - December 10, 2001 Peacefully, in her 98th year, at 70 Poseidon Bay, where she had lived for the past six years. Cressie was born in London, England on June 1, 1903 and came to Canada with her family in 1911. The family settled in Dauphin, MB, where Cressie and her three brothers, John, Lawrence and George attended school. After completing high school, Cressie took a secretarial course, then joining the Bank of Commerce (now CIBC), first in Dauphin and latterly in Winnipeg. Cressie was, in her younger years, an energetic and athletic woman. A member for 50 years of the Winnipeg Winter Club, she greatly enjoyed figure skating and bowling. Cressie had a particular caring interest in CancerCare Manitoba and her donation at the outset of their current building campaign in memory of her brother the Honourable George Eric Tritschler, a cancer survivor, when it was made, was one of the largest donations to the campaign by an individual. Cressie was predeceased by her three brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing sister-in-law Norah Tritschler of Vancouver; nieces, Sue Debanne of Aylmer, PQ, Lynn Dumoulin of Vancouver; nephews, Patrick Tritschler of Vancouver and Father John Tritschler of Surrey, BC. She is also mourned by her very special care-givers, Shirly, Linda and Kathy and by her close friends in Winnipeg. Funeral to be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12 at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place, Winnipeg. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
