NELLIE KOMISARCHUK (nee MARYNEWICH On December 10, 2001, at the Polish Manor, Nellie passed away at the age of 96. Nellie is survived by her only daughter Fran (Ken) Mills of Winnipeg; her grandsons, Bob Rielly (Kathy Hannah) of Tyndall, MB and Randy (Vincenza) Rielly of Kamloops, BC; four great-grandchildren, Joey, Tina, Robbie and Shawn and their respective families, with ten great-great-grandchildren;sisters-in-law, Frances Tucker and Ann Marynick of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Joe and all her brothers and sisters, Frank, Walter, Martin, Mike, John, Stanley, Katie Machula, Mary Kosak, Victoria Kostan and Caroline Shumilak. Nellie was born in Cooks Creek on September 15, 1905, and in November, 1925 married Joe, living in Tyndall for almost all of her life, even after Joes passing in 1963, until she moved to the Polish Manor in 1977. She was a homemaker all her life. Life was very hard at times, surviving the "dirty 30s" was a struggle. Her love was "old time" music, and dancing was her passion. Nellie was a caring person and very independent right to the end. On behalf of my mother, I wish to thank Walter Turek, Chris and Gerry at the Polish Manor for all their thoughtfulness, and she was very fond of all of you. My thanks also to Dr. Kevin Coates who treated her with such kindness over the years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with Rev. Fr. Ed Kosa, O.M.I. officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Nellies memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Station Main, Winnipeg, R3C 9Z9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
