Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAYE MARGARET UPTON (nee BALDWIN) Faye Margaret Upton (nee Baldwin), 53, the loving wife of Robert (Bob) and caring mother of Steven and Jennifer was sadly taken in a fatal car accident on Sunday, December 9, 2001 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Predeceased by her father Ronald, on February 25, 1997, Faye leaves to mourn her mother Marian Baldwin (nee Hunter) sisters, Valerie Wilkes (Gordon), Sharon Mulligan (Kenneth), and Beverly McMillan (Donnie) and brothers, Glen (Elaine), Wayne (Eleanore), Barry (Judy), Myron (Brenda), and Randy (Dawn). Faye also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends. Born July 13, 1948, in Winnipeg, Faye grew up in Warren, MB and graduated from Warren Collegiate in the class of 1966. At age 21 Faye moved to Winnipeg. Her career focused primarily on financial services in the areas of credit union, trust and banking. Faye retired in May of 2000 to pursue personal interests. During her personal time Faye could be found in the back yard toiling in her garden. She also enjoyed a good book, a good movie, playing cards, and knitting for other people. Most of all she cherished the time she got to spend with her family. We remember Faye as a warm, loving, helpful, and caring daughter, sister, wife, and mother. You will be with us always in our hearts and dreams. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Norman A. Velnes will officiate. The service will conclude at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 120-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6, or CancerCare Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or the charity of ones choice.
