ELMER COOK Suddenly, on Sunday, December 9, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre, Elmer Cook passed away at the age of 67 years. Elmer was born at Lake St. Martin and had resided in Winnipeg his entire life. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory one daughter, Marion Beardy; three sons, James Beardy, Leonard Beardy (Sheila) and Peter Beardy; 12 grandchildren, Diana, Denise, Dena, Dakota, Dustin, Michael, Joshua, Conan, Leon, Noel, Crystal and Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Delta and Damon. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elmer was predeceased by his wife Christine Beardy; son Elvis Beardy and sister Mary Agnes Einarsson. Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg with wake to follow. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m., also at the chapel, with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 SELKIRK AVE. 586-7700
