VERA STIMPSON Vera Stimpson of Shoal Lake passed away peacefully at her home on December 8, 2001. Vera was born in Birtle, MB, later moving with the family to Shoal Lake. Moving to Winnipeg, Vera worked at Eatons for many years, returning to Shoal Lake to care for her mom and dad. Vera was actively involved in the community, working at the Bakery and later at the Golf Course Clubhouse. She was a member of the Westminster United Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Vera loved animals and was rarely seen without one of her dog(s) by her side. Vera will be missed by many family and friends. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 12. If friends so desire donations in Veras memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Raes Funeral Service of Shoal Lake were in care of the arrangements.
