ISABEL DUNCAN With great sadness we announce the passing of Isabel Duncan on Tuesday, December 11. She lived a full and joyful life and we will miss her dearly. Her husband Ken, her son Don and her sister Vera Littlejohn predeceased her. She leaves her daughter Judy Holden and son-in-law Dave; her sister Myrtle Clemence (Charles) grandchildren, Scott (Melanie), and Paul (Karen) the west coast clan of Jeff, Christine (Mark), Andrea (Darren) and Kim and daughter-in-law Chris. She cherished her three great-grandchildren, Emma, Ashley and Cameron. She was a larger than life role model for all of us. Her zest for life was contagious and she was always game for any family times. She especially loved her summers at the cottage in Sandy Hook and had a claim on "her" bedroom. Grans sense of humour, style and independence made her so much younger than her 87 years. There is an empty space in our hearts right now but fond memories will soon replace that. A celebration of Isabels wonderful life will be held at Regents Park United Church, 613 St. Marys Rd. on Saturday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Paul Campbell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Society, 2109 Portage Ave. Isabel would like to know that her support of this charity, as a result of Kens death, carries on through others.
