JEROME ALLAN (McGEE) CARRETTE May 19, 1938 - December 12, 2001 Unexpectedly on December 12, 2001, Allan Carrette, husband of Bonnie, passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Allan was pre-deceased by his father in 1995 and his mother in 1996. His memory will be forever cherished by his brothers, Robert (Rita), Gary (Laurette) his sisters, Doreen Carriere and Maureen (James) Scott; his wife Bonnie and their children, Andrew, Anastasia, Marion, Juanita and Alicia; from his second marriage his two sons, Jerome (Kim) and William (Amy) a stepdaughter Peggy, and their mother Irene; from his first marriage Sandra (Glenn), Donna, Kerry (Melanie), Cheryl (Barrett) and their mother Yvonne; 18 grand-children and six great-grandchildren. Also Aunty Betty Carrette; grandmother-in-law Andrienne McLeod; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Allan was born to Marion (Jackson) and Jerome Carrette in the St. Boniface Hospital. He grew up on the family farm in Prairie Grove, MB. Allan entered the Army in 1959 and was sent to Germany in 1960 for the Peace Keeping. He returned in September of 1962 and worked many different jobs until 1964 when he went to Alberta and settled in as a hotel manager. Allan returned to Winnipeg in 1972 and then became a manager at the Lundar Motor Hotel. He was then able to own and operate the Sportsman Inn in Lundar, MB until 1979 when he moved back to Alberta to be with the Love of his life, who he returned to Manitoba with in 1984. Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Society, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
