Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOSCAR LENNSTROM On December 12, 2001 Oscar (Swede) Lennstrom passed away at Stonewall Health Centre at the age of 81 years. Dad was born in Spearhill, MB on March 10, 1920. Dad was a paratrooper in the Second World War and worked for the City of Winnipeg for many years. He was a member of Rockwood A.N.A.F. and a member of the Stonewall Legion. Lovingly remembered by his companion Tina; his son Ryan (Donna), his children, Lori (Greg), Karen (Patrick), Derek and their mother Linda; great-grandsons, Jordon and Jesse; his son Ken (Judy), their daughters, Kim (Len) and Becky (Scott). Survived by his sister Lily Ulvaan; brother Gus (Rita) sisters-in-law, Clarice, Esther, Vi (Harold), and Mabel; brother-in-law Vernon (Marrionne) along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was predeceased by his wife Ruth; his parents, Agnes Pauline and Oscar Carl; two infant sisters; and brothers, Leonard, Lyman, Louie, and Carl; brothers-in-law, Melvin and Jack. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 16 at 11:30 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stonewall. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
