JEAN LOUISE WISDOM (nee STARR) 1914 - 2001 Peacefully, on Saturday December 15, 2001 at Victoria Hospital, Jean Wisdom passed away at the age of 87. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son in law, Carol and Andre Mahe; and by her grandsons, Christian and Richard. Jean was predeceased by her husband Ernie in 1986; and parents Samuel and Jessie; brothers, Gordon, Wilfrid, Harold; and sister Dorothy Parnell. Jean was born June 14, 1914, in St. Boniface and married Ernie in 1940. She attended St. Marys Academy and Kelvin High School. She worked at Eatons for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and a loving grandmother. Jean had a zest for life that even her stroke in 1997 could not diminish. Against all odds, she was able to achieve her most cherished wish, to come home and live an independent life. Many thanks to the friends and Home Care staff who helped her to realize this goal. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy.
