MARGARET ROSE MOORE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Margaret Rose Moore on December 16, 2001. Margaret was born on August 15, 1926, the youngest of eight children born to Edith and Albert Rogers. She married her sweetheart Earl in 1946 and lost him in 1982. She had missed him ever since. She loved life, her family, all her nieces and nephews and especially her grandson Jason. They all loved her back because she was fun and feisty. She was a Transcona Cub Scout Leader and later was active in the U.C.W. at Memorial United. She was a cancer survivor for 19 years. Her strength and character will be missed by the family. Margaret is survived by son Gary and his wife Janet; grandson Jason; sisters, Marjorie Lamoureux and Iris Wood; brother-in-law Albert Lamoureux; sisters-in-law, Diana Gresko, Margaret Larkins, Florence Rogers, Mary Moore, and Marion Rogers; brother-in-law Wally Gresko; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by family and friends who can take comfort that she is now with her beloved Earl. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Friends may call to pay their respects Wednesday evening (tonight) between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, December 20 at 1:30 p.m. from Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. W., Transcona. Rev. Jeff Cook will officiate. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Gordon Moore and son Jeremy, Gary Lamoureux, Wayne Wood, Fred Larkins, and Garys friend Brian Jones. Service to terminate at the church. Burial, beside her husband Earl, at a later date. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
