KLEMENT BALAZ Peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2001 at Riverview Health Centre, Klement Balaz passed away at the age of 72. Dad loved to spend time fishing, camping and travelling. As a young man, he worked on the family farm in Lorette, then in the construction industry for many years. If anyone in the family needed help building or remodelling, Dad was always there to lend them his expertise. He took great pride in his children and their achievements. Dad is survived by his eight children and their families, Rick and Denise (Kara, Craig), Gisele and Moe (Jeff and Jeannette), Donna (Melissa, Tanya, Ryan), Marlene and Ron (Lisa, Justin), Kathleen (Collin, Laurissa), Fran and Harry (Dylan), Tony and Linda (Brennen, Nicholas), Sheila (Ashley), their mother Aline and Dads brother Denis. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Krahn and nurse Michelle, Dr. Silverman, Homecare Staff, Dr. Kirk and Staff of Riverview Health Centre 3E Wing. Thank you to Auntie Edmee and Father Ron Leger for their generous support. A special thank you to Fran, Harry and Dylan for caring for Dad in their home for the last four months. A reception celebrating Klements life will be held on Friday, December 21 between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel located at 680 Archibald St. A private interment will be held prior to the reception.
