Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB "JACK" GEORGE BREUER On Monday, December 17, 2001, Jacob George Breuer passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 86 years. Jack will be lovingly remembered by Gladys Petlock his companion of 22 years; children, Gloria, Karen and Jack (Beverley) Breuer; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sister Ella Kelln; and brother Frank (Audrey) Knecht. Jack was born in Govan, SK, on March 6, 1915. He served in the Canadian Army from September, 1939 and achieved many medals during the Second World War and honourably released as Sergeant in September, 1965. Jack was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Jack was a great man who was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends and people who worked with him. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, December 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Special thanks to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre, all the members of The Royal Canadian Legion and the citizens of the Canadian Armed Forces.
