Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAURELE AMEDEE GOBEIL It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend, Aurele Amedee Gobeil on December 17, 2001 at his residence in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB. He was predeceased by his father Gerard, brother Jacques, and brother-in-law Kenneth. He is survived by his mother Ernestine; brothers, Gerald (Annette), Fernand (Lise), Raymond; and sisters, Rachelle (Jacques) Lavoie, Alice Lavallee, Monique (Murray) Roberts, and Lise (Omer) Cure; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Aurele was born in St. Boniface on April 5, 1939 and grew up on the family farm in Otterburne, MB. He was employed at Westfield Industries in Rosenort. He was a hard worker and took a lot of pride in his cottage in the country where he liked to spend his weekends tinkering in the shop or just enjoying the peace and serenity of nature. Aurele was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and was a 4th degree knight. Aurele was a quiet man, generous with a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed, and forever cherished in our hearts. "Ajoute un couvert Seigneur a ta table." Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Pierre Parish Church, St. Pierre, MB, with viewing one-half hour prior to service. The service will conclude at the church.
