HAROLD LEONARD BAKER On December 16, 2001, Harold Leonard Baker died at home in Vernon, BC, surrounded by the love of his family. Harold came to Canada in 1941, as a member of the RAF. He served in Canada, France and England. He met the love of his life, Audrey, in Winnipeg, MB, and they were married on April 24, 1942. They spent 60 wonderful years together, raising their family. Harold will be sadly missed by his loving familywife Audrey; son Harold; three daughters, Norma (Ted), Valerie (Bob) and Shelley (Keith) grandchildren, Rhonda, Sherry, Lena, Jodi, Bobbi, Alison, Brent, Colin, Kaara, Tyler and Chad; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Sebastian, Reanne, Jayleen, Jesse and Rowan; also, survived by his four sisters, Ivy, Nora, Kath and Edna. He will also be missed by his special furry companion Sera; predeceased by his parents Albert and Kathleen; and brothers, Albert, Harry and Cyril. A service was held in Vernon. In lieu of flowers any donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Services, Kelowna, 250-762-2299.
