Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN TROUGHTON (LePERS) After a lengthy illness, Evelyn Troughton died peacefully on December 21, 2001, at the age of 82 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dennis, Carol, Norm (Jen) and Ray; and her grandchildren, Keith, Patrick, Jillian, Christopher, Colleen and Cameron. Evelyn is also survived by brothers-in-law, Roy and Bill Troughton; sisters-in-law, Thelma Caulfield and Shirley LePers and their families. She was predeceased by her husband John in December 1985 and her brother Ted LePers in 1996. Born in London, England on January 1, 1919, Evelyn was brought to Winnipeg as a young child and has resided here since then. She was a devoted mum who put the needs of others ahead of her own. We have been missing her personality and wisdom for years due to the difficulties associated with Alzheimers Disease, and are relieved that her spirit is now free to soar. Sincere gratitude is extended to the staff at Central Park Lodge (Poseidon Bay) for their care and compassion. A private family celebration of our mothers life will be held. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba would be appreciated. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
