F. MURIEL HALL (nee EVITT) Muriel was born on June 16, 1902 and passed away on December 22, 2001 at Extendicare Oakview Place. She was born in the R.M. of Roblin, MB and educated at Brandon Teachers College. She is formerly of Tregarva and Regina, SK as well as Winnipeg. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1974, son John (Jack) in 1975, her son-in-law Edward (Ted) Higham in 1982, daughter Jean Hall-Jensen in 1996, daughter Shirley Higham in 2001 as well as her parents, a brother and a sister. Beloved mother of Doreen (Ronald) McArthur, grandmother of six, and great-grandmother of ten. Also survived by nieces and nephews across Canada and in England. Special thanks to her niece Joan Cousins, her son-in-law Ed Jensen, her granddaughter-in-law Darlene Higham and to the staff of Extendicare Oakview Place. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Captain Brian Wheeler of the Salvation Army officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army Hampton Citadel, 221 Hampton St., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 1P5.
