Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ANNE "PEGGY" MCKINNON Margaret Anne "Peggy" aged 83, late of McClure Place, Saskatoon and formerly of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 22, 2001. Peggy is lovingly remembered by her husband John "Pete", her son Jim and daughter-in-law Ev McKinnon of Saskatoon; her son-in-law Raymond Quigley of St. Albert; her cherished grandchildren, David and Kate McKinnon; Laura Quigley and Karen (Mark) Little; her dear sweet great-granddaughter Taylor Marie Little; her sister May Gallagher; along with several brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews who were so special to her. She was predeceased by her daughter Brenda Marie Quigley (1995) her parents, Jim and Maggie Flynn; and her two brothers, Hugh and William. Peggy was born December 26, 1917 in Ballinamore, County Leitrim, Ireland. She married Pete McKinnon on May 11, 1944 in England. She arrived in Canada in 1946 and together they lived in Winnipeg for 44 years. Peggy worked as a Nurses Aide at the Womens Pavillion in Winnipeg for 24 years. This past year was truly a happy year for Peggy as they ventured to Saskatoon to be closer to family and meet many good friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her love of family, friends and church, were up most in her life along with special interests such as curling. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 28 at 10:30 a.m. from the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church (114 Kingsmere Pl., Saskatoon) with Rev. Fr. Denis Phaneuf as the celebrant. The Cremation Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated if directed to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all staff of Emergency and ICU at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon.
