After a courageous struggle with cancer, Guy passed away peacefully at home. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Kristrun Bolton (nee Arason), his sister Lillian Ferguson (Gerry), his brother Lloyd (Diane), his sister Sharon Cuthbert (Gordon), his favorite niece Kristine, and his many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His family moved to Winnipeg in 1950 where he worked and resided until his death. A talented barber, Guy was respected for his abilities by his associates and customers. Guy enjoyed watching any type of sport or reading a good book, he had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He spent many hours doing what he loved best, helping others and organizing activities at 385. We know they will remember him for his outgoing personality and laughter. Our family would like to thank Lawrence, Elsie, Sharon and Sierra for their support over the past months and to extend a special thank you to Dr. P. Harris and Marie and the staff at the Grace Hospital Cancer Clinic for their kindness and care. In accordance with Guys wishes, cremation will take place.
