Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN HLOPINA Suddenly at his home on December 24, 2001 John passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, Nestor and Elizabeth, sister Mary; four brothers, Bill, Gregor, Peter and Mike. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Julie of 47 years; two daughters, Shirley Gulyas and husband Larry of Calgary, AB and Bev Molinski of Winnipeg; four loving grandsons, Derek, Jeremy, Trevor and Kevin; two sisters, Lena and Vera. John was born and raised in Shell Valley, MB on October 6, 1926. He came to Winnipeg and worked for Coca-Cola Ltd. for 43 years where he retired as the Automotive Fleet Supervisor in 1989. John lived for the outdoors. His hobbies were fishing, gardening and refinishing antique furniture. His love for flowers was endless. He was also very involved in the church community. John and his wife enjoyed their winter vacations in Hawaii. John will be sadly missed by his dear friends and family. Prayers will be said on Sunday, December 30, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 121 Harvard Avenue East Transcona with Fr. Mirone Klysh officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Pallbearers will be Derek and Jeremy Molinski, Larry and Trevor Gulyas, Sonny Seiler and Roman Markewich.
