Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE MAY SINCLAIR July 28, 1938 -December 24, 2001 On Christmas Morning, at Percy E. Moore Hospital, our beloved Mom/Grama went to join her husband in Heaven. Nellie passed quietly, with graceful gentleness, with all her children at her side. Nellie was the daughter of the late Solomon and Annabella Stranger (McLennan). She leaves her children, Liz (Stephen), Billy, Mindy (Jerry), Leslie (Suzanne) and their other brother, Darrell (Loretta) to forever cherish her memory. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jynx (Patrick), Ginny, Jonathon, Mike, Les, Cole, Kelsey and Kane, who will miss her very, very much. Nellie also leaves her sisters, Mrs. Annabella Whittingham of Carberry, Ollie Stranger of Gimli, Mrs. Katherine (Russell) Everett, Mrs. Betty Brause of Winnipeg and Mrs. Jeanette Asham of Peguis; her brothers, Leslie, Dennis (Irene), Franklin, Earl (Nellie), Ernie (Florence), all of Peguis, Winston (Joy) of Gimli; sisters-in-law, Dorothy of Peguis, Margaret and Yvonne of Winnipeg, and Karen of Terrace, BC. She will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially nephew Lawrence (Sherri) Asham who was very special to her. Nellie goes to join her husband, Lloyd James Sinclair, her parents; her brothers, Melvin, Frank, Freeman, Roderick, Jim and David; her sister Florence (who died in infancy) and her baby grandson, Matthew James Munro. Nellie was a happy woman, who always had a laugh to share. She was creative, and she could always whip up something, seemingly out of nothing, to bring happiness to her family and friends. One of her greatest joys was going to her grandsons hockey games, she was their number one cheerleader. She was an unbelievably strong woman, always managing to overcome the greatest griefs, and never forgetting how valuable humor can be in times of heartache. Nellie was not only a Mother, a Grandmother, a Sister and an Aunty, but also our Best Friend. She will be sadly missed, and forever loved. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses and other staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital for their support and kindness. Thank you to Danny Daniels, Melvin Manningway and Greg McCorrister, who were there when we needed them, and a special thanks to Reverend Barry Bear, for your support and prayers. Prayers will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church, 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29 also at the St. Matthews Anglican Church. Reverend W. Barrett and Reverend Barry Bear officiating. Pallbearers are Dave Stranger Jr., Steve Heindrichs, Darrell Michelle, Wayne Stranger, Patrick McKay and Jonathon Sinclair.
