Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Uncle Bob was my mother Marion’s favourite brother and I was named Roberta after him. Uncle Bob was the youngest child in the Hunter family, born in Canada in 1911 after the family moved from Paisley Scotland in 1909. Grampa Hugh came earlier to Canada in 1906, and was followed by his wife Ruby and 3 children, William, Thomas and Marion in 1909. My last visit with Uncle Bob was in Lethbridge Alberta, a wonderful visit with he and Kathleen, along with my husband Paul Thomas and one of my sons Neal Thomas, who was teaching at the University of Lethbridge at the time. Uncle Bob was in great spirits and we had a wonderful visit. - Posted by: Roberta Marion Thomas (Niece to my uncle Bob. ) on: Oct 22, 2024
