LAURENCE PHILLIPS SIBLEY Suddenly on December 25, 2001 Larry Sibley, aged 52 years, of Teulon, MB. Left to mourn his loss are his children, Laurie of Thompson, Helen (Keith) White of Winnipeg, and Deb (Cory) of Thompson; their mother Sally; grandchildren, Kirstie, Trista, Jordon, Shaun, Sharla, and Jonathan; his father Alex Sibley of Nova Scotia; brothers and sisters, Sandra (Bink) Bianchini of Alberta, Barbara (Curt) Pittman, Susan (Carl) Myers, Gina Brewer, Ruby Sibley all of Nova Scotia, Betty (Doug) Waluk, Bill (Barb) Sibley, and Andrew (Cindy) Sibley all of Manitoba; special nephew Stephen Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Helen R. Sibley, infant brother John and nephew Terry. Larry was a great family man, whos mother was a big part of his life. He had a great sense of humour and was a great friend. He would give you the shirt off his back and wouldnt say no to anyone. He always thought of others ahead of himself. He fulfilled his life long dream when he built a new home in Teulon. Larry was born in Nova Scotia on September 3, 1949. In 1971, he moved to Manitoba and worked at Thompson as a mechanic for 22 years. He was a member of the stock car club in Thompson. In 1994, he moved to the Teulon area where he bought a farm. Larry felt blessed to have his nephew Stephen live on the farm with him. The two of them loved to work on cars together. Since 1994, Larry was employed by Motor Coach Industries in Winnipeg. He was an experienced welder, Mr. Fixit, and jack of all trades. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. The service will conclude at the chapel with cremation to follow. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba ON - 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9, or to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2.
