ROBERT RANDLE GRAY 1925 - 2001 The family of Robert Randle Gray is deeply saddened to announce the unexpected and tragic passing of their beloved husband and father. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by wife Eleanor; son Jeffrey and daughter Kimberley; sisters-in-law, Margaret Geroux and Ann Fulton and his beloved grandpets. Porsche will especially miss his hearty "Porsche Baby" welcoming call. Bob was born in Winnipeg on January 30, 1925 and grew up in South Transcona. He married Eleanor Fulton on July 9, 1955 and they shared 46 years and countless laughs together in their Transcona home. Bob was employed as a Carman with the CNR for 44 years where he made many friends. He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945, and was a member of the Transcona Legion Branch No. 7, Three Pillars Lodge No. 169, Independent Order of Foresters and the Transcona Memorial United Church. Dads sense of humour, incredible wit, love of life and gift of laughter will always be remembered. He was a treasure to all who knew him and we are sure he already has all the other Angels laughing with him in Heaven. The family wishes to express our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Winnipeg Police Service and District 4 officers for their tireless efforts. We also wish to thank the media for their attention and compassion. Finally, to our friends and all the other concerned people who gave up time with their families to search endlessly and tirelessly for our Dad, thank you cannot fully describe our deep appreciation. We will never forget your efforts. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West, Carol Fletcher officiating. Honourary pallbearers will be Ivor Cox, Leo Degelman, Jim Buxton Jr., Dean Katzenberger, Jim de Jong and Doug Dumontet. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in the memory of Dad can be made to the Arthritis Society, Cancer Society or to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 222-6677. "Daddy, you are my rising sun, my shining star, my rainbow, my heart and my joy. I will always and forever be Daddys Little Girl"...
