DORA NICHOLSON With profound sadness yet quiet hope we wish to announce the passing of our wife and mother, Dora Marion Nicholson on December 26, 2001, at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, in Winnipeg. Dora was in her 86th year. She was predeceased by her father Will Tucker, her mother Dorothy Tucker, and two brothers, Ed and Cedric. She is survived by her husband Richard L. Nicholson; her daughter Nelda M. Bailey; and son-in-law Thomas Bailey. Dora and Richard had just celebrated their 59th anniversary in November of this year. She is loved and will be remembered by many people. Through the years she remained a committed Christian who was known for her courage and graciousness. Although arthritis made her life progressively more difficult, many people continued to see a ready smile and a good heart. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 217 Osborne St. S., with Cecil Bailey and Tom Bailey officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doras memory may be made to the Arthritis and Rheumatism Society, or a charity of your choice.
