Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENORE BEATRICE SCOTCHMER September 22, 1910 - December 25, 2001 On December 25, 2001, Lenore Beatrice Scotchmer (Parsons) died peacefully at St. Joseph Auxiliary Hospital in Edmonton, AB. She is survived by two daughters, Jane (John) Eggertson and Linda (Gordon) Bentham; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, who died in 1988. Born and raised in Brantford, ON, she graduated from Galt Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1934. She and Harold moved to Winnipeg in 1950. She spent many years doing volunteer work in her community and was very active in Fort Garry United Church. She moved to Edmonton in 1996. At her request, following cremation in Edmonton, a graveside service will be held in Winnipeg in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or the charity of ones choice.
