ROY HARMAN TORGERSON May 9, 1934 - December 24, 2001 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of a dear husband, father, and grandfather, Roy on Monday, December 24, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side. He will be forever remembered and much missed by his wife Hilda of 41 years of marriage, son Sheldon, daughter Wendy Augustine (Kevin), grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, and Hailey. Roy was predeceased by his mother in 1958, and by his father in 1972. After 26 years of service, Roy retired from Wrigley Canada in 1990. He enjoyed working around his home, his flowers and vegetable garden. He much enjoyed old time dancing, casino bus trips and winter holidays in Hawaii, trips to Las Vegas and many other southern points. In compliance with Roys wishes, no funeral service will be held. Our family would like to express a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff on GH4 at the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. "Go rest high on that mountain Roy, your work on earth is done.
