Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERRY (PETER) ZELENITSKY On Monday, December 24, 2001 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Gimli, Jerry Zelenitsky aged 83 years of Winnipeg Beach, MB. Jerry is survived by his wife Pauline; children, Charlie (Donna), Carole (John), Lorraine (Raymond) and Patty; grandchildren, Sheryl (John), Darla (Chris), Gary, Arne (Denise), Corrinne (Danny), Sheila (Tom) and Dennis (Inga) and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter of Ontario, Ted of B.C. and Victor of Winnipeg. Jerry was predeceased by his son-in-law Ray Swanson; parents, Hnat and Lena; sisters, Eileen and Carrie. Jerry was born on July 12, 1918 in Winnipeg Beach. He married Pauline Boitson on May 30, 1940 in Winnipeg Beach, where they raised their family. Jerry founded Jerrys Electric in Winnipeg Beach in 1949 and he owned and operated the business until retirement in 1972. After retirement Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. At Jerrys request cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held in the spring. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the Home Care workers, Dr. Z. Wiesenthal and the staff at Johnson Memorial Hospital for all their care given to Jerry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Wpg., MB, R2H 9Z9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
