DOUGALD MATHEW McINTYRE On December 28, 2001 at the Carman Memorial Hospital, Dougald Mathew McIntyre passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Dougald was born May 19, 1913 at Culross, MB, the second son of four boys to John Cameron and Frances Mary McIntyre. He attended Giltedge and Castleton Schools. In October of 1949 he married Vivian Malmquist and moved to his farm four and one half miles north of Elm Creek where he resided until this past fall. Dougald farmed with his father and three brothers and later his nephews and great-nephews. His family and his farming were very important to him. Dougald was predeceased by his wife Vivian, his parents, Jack and Minnie, his brother Cameron and his brother and sister-in-law Norman and Peggy. He leaves to mourn his passing his brother Stewart and wife Jean of Culross, his sister-in-law Ina McIntyre of Portage, his niece Frances and Leonard Friesen, Andrea, Kristopher and Gregory; and his nephew Bryan and Janice McIntyre, Derrick, Jill and Jenna. Also a brother-in-law Lyle Johnston of Abbottsford, BC and nieces and nephews, Karen, Dianne, Gary, Neil, Gloria, Donna, Dale, Janice, Irene, Marge, Ted, Gwen and Bonnie. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrews United Church in Elm Creek, MB on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Cathie Waldie officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Elm Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrews United Church in Elm Creek, MB, ROG ONO. Doyles Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
